When I was 15 years old I remember playing basketball at my local YMCA and looking up at the weight section that overlooked the courts and dreaming about working out. I was always trying to convince my friend JD to go lift with me. One day I finally got him to go up to the weight room with me and do a workout and that's when I got hooked! Initially I was just trying to get bigger and more explosive for basketball. Later on in college I was watching YouTube and came across some videos from Greg Plitt and Lazar Angelov and that's when I decided I wanted to get a fitness model physique! I didn't really know what I was doing at the time but I kept watching videos and kept trying to learn as much as I could. It really gave me the foundation and the passion that I have now. My training is based around on developing an aesthetic physique naturally. This plays a role in determining the exercises I do as well as the way I approach my workouts. The mind-muscle connection and training a muscle through a full range of muscle have been crucial in my development and are one of the main reasons I love the gym so much! There is just something amazing about getting a massive pump! I love to create workout programs and help people through my coaching because I love fitness and want to help others reach their goals as well!
